Hilliard House doesn't stop services when the families leave...

Our staff is committed to helping our graduating residents become efficient in self-sufficiency through our Aftercare Housing Program. Along with in-house programs structured to meet residents' specific needs, the Aftercare Housing Program was designed to provide continued support to our residents through monitoring, financial assistance, and giving direct access to landlords and property managers providing rental opportunities to Hilliard House's residents.

Benefits of Partnering With Hilliard House

The benefits of landlords partnering with Hilliard House to provide housing for our residents are:

  1. Hilliard House supports tenants for their first year of occupancy with an independent housing voucher, which pays a portion of their monthly rental obligation.
  2. Participants will engage with a Case Manager who visits participating residents' homes on a bi-monthly basis.
  3. Landlords will have access to the Case Manager to discuss any concerns that may arise regarding occupants of their properties.
  4. Participants will continue to receive support services for any barriers they may experience limiting their ability to maintain stability.
