Event Details

Kick off the holiday season with an afternoon of fresh air, fresh greenery, and fresh cocoa in an historic private farm in Ashland, VA!

For an entrance fee donation to Hilliard House, you can make as many fresh decorations as you can carry! We have experts to help you every step of the way.

  • Create wreaths, swags, boxwood circles, table toppers, candle surrounds etc;
  • Our fresh cut greenery includes pine, cedar, hemlock, fraser fir, holly, nandina, boxwood and more, cut from the historic farms of Hanover County.
  • Make your own holiday wreaths
  • Or for a small donation, purchase beautiful fresh decorations done by our experts.
  • We have bows, wreath forms, wire, clippers, cutters, gloves - everything you need!
  • Table experts from the area garden clubs provide hands-on guidance.
  • Visit the toasty warm Big Red Barn to enjoy wonderful holiday sweets, hot beverages and holiday music performed by Susan Greenbaum.

Shop in The Country Store for one-of-a-kind holiday gifts. 100% of profit will be donated to Hilliard House. We have low donations prices for wonderful hostess, teacher, mailmen, babysitter gifts.

This is a Child- Friendly Event.

Parking is located 1 mile from Pine Grove Farm at Henry Clay Elementary School, 310 South James Street, Ashland, VA 23005 and at the Hanover Arts & Activities Center, 500 South Center Street, Ashland, Va 23005

A "Deck the Halls Trolley" will run every 15 minutes to take participants to and from the event. You can opt to drop off your carload and then go and park. Handicap parking at Pine Grove Farm. See map for location
